Common Perceptions Among Youth Which Needs to Break

Today, we're going talk about on some matter which we generally face every day but never ever really bother to give it a look. These are some of the stereotypes about the opposite sex, relationship and dating which have housed the minds of youths. One can also call the following a Relation Advice, dating tips, love tips, or anything else but before coming to conclusion lets read ahead.

So, those days are gone when you can easily woo a girl by standing next to her porch with a boom box or by performing love songs.

Yep, the media is so fixated and the pressure is on both sexes, so that some of these wrong things have become myths. So, without wasting any of your valuable time, here we go busting some myths!

  • Women tends to like an edgy bad boy

First thing first, why? Does it not pay to be a good guy? I'm not saying that whether you don't do drugs will get you a date but I'm just saying it's not healthy, not only for yourself but also for your relationship. Recent studies showed that girls who had troublesome past and especially having "daddy-issue" seems to be having an affinity for the bad boys they just want to be rescue!

  • It doesn't pay to be the "nice guy"

Basically, it's the narrative about a guy whose too pathetically nice for his own good and who never gets laid.

Research has shown that people are drawn to people who are kind or nice to us. Besides there is nothing wrong with the edginess - unless it keeps stopping you from treating the other person nicely.

  • Being mysterious is kind of sexy!

They say be a be a mysterious human and let them unravel you.

Communication is the most important thing that makes a relationship works. If someone likes a boy or girl then they just probably want to text or call them. Yes, there is a difference between being clingy and making them know that you're interested. Honesty is pretty good thing and being dishonest with anyone would be disrespectful. So, cut the crap if you want to mysterious then it's ok but make sure that it won't buzzkill the fun.

  • More sex, more better you are!

There's so much pressure to go to bed early and I'm not even saying in any context to sleeping. So, the idea of having more sexual partners somehow proves a guy's manliness or a girl's sluttiness is so dead wrong. A study in 2013 found that many male participants exaggerated how many sexual partners they had. They were so inclined to make others believe that how many one-night stands they had and how many young they were when they lost their virginity. You may think it's so casual but nearly 35% of guys don't lose their virginity until they're 18 or ever!

  • Girls want to be pursued!

If film industry all around the world and especially Bollywood has taught us one thing that whenever a girl say "No" she actually wants you to pursue her. The thing is the phrase "NO MEANS NO" not only apply to sex but also to dating. Guys should know that respecting a girl and her consent is a vital part of healthy relationship. So, if a guy is still pursuing a girl who already said no is nothing but harassment This is the best relationship advice for creepers who are still hoping to get a girl, probably they will...

  • A real man always pays for everything.

For ages, it has become some sort of rule that whenever a couple is out for a date a guy should provide everything.

I mean chivalry

and Manliness

is another thing but chivalry is something we should be consensual. Even today 76% of men feel "guilty" for wanting women to pay the bill so here's the thing split the check, it works best for both of them.

  • Guys don't share/talk about their feelings.

One thing we guys are supposed to self-interested, competitive, non-emotional, strong (with no insecurities at all) and should able to deal with their problem by themselves. Hello! we're here not talking about Superman and by the way he also needs emotional support from Lois Lane. Even a lot of women would prefer if their man would speak up. The best relationship is one where both partners are totally emotionally open to each other.

  • Dating means Fun + Easy.
No!
Yes, it comes with its perks but also with homework. More the work better the relationship. And don't even try to seek any pop culture references
as they don't show the amount of pain, the sacrifices you go through while building a successful or more importantly a healthy relationship. Most of the perfect, ideal, healthy relationships exist in reel life.
  • Man want sex, women want relationship. Wait, What?

Why men are often told not to objectify women

but what about other trying to objectify us?

We're not a creature having a desire to feel every damn hole. We are emotional being too and by the way research has shown that the girls want to "do it" just as much as guys. In other words, sex is a physical need just like hunger and in a healthy relationship you're going to need both of them to stabilize but one can't stay without each other. This got to be the best relationship advice for women.
  • Men don't like to communicate.

Men like to talk, discuss and even gossip. Some of us can actually cry and then later being bullied for not being strong. In shushing way, I cry every time I see Deepika Padukone crying on-screen.
We encourage healthy discussion based on logic or not. We often censor on ourselves because we don't know how other gender with react?

So, it really doesn't matter whether you're a guy or a girl, if you wanna date then go for it, but make sure it's consensually done. And please refrain from the above mentioned notions and believe me you'll be having a less disastrous relationship. Well, in this case, it will be a beautiful disaster!

Sonu Nigam Azaan Controversy

About a week ago, there was this wave of nationalism due to the Snapchat "poorcountry" remark . And the hatchet wasn’t buried yet there was another fight to be fought. Yes, we found ourselves in between of some eyebrow-raising controversy. And this time, it was about a someone influential apparently hurting a particular religion's statement. It was maybe just his opinion and what people did was to twist his statement and then get offended by him, as we Indians are so good at taking offences that if were a sport, then we could be damn sure, Ki Olympics mein gold to apne le hi aayenge. (we'll be easily fetching some gold medals in Olympics) Sonu Nigam, quite a big shot in Bollywood and also a prominent name in playback singing, apparently received a lot of attention for something he would be proud of. On 17th of April, 2017, he was woken up by the morning Azaan (the Islamic call for prayer) from a mosque which is about 500 m away from his house. God ble

Katy Perry posts picture of Goddess Kali and we are offended again!

If there's anything that has come out of the recent Snapchat and Sonu Nigam outbursts, it's that most of us Indians are just waiting to get offended. Literally, we would just lose our shit even if some outsider call our country as poor and developing one. "NO", we aren't (that) poor but yes 1 out of 5 Indians do live below the extreme poverty level! The level of hypocrisy is damn too high! This time it's because of American singer-songwriter Katy Perry. Katy recently shared a photo of Goddess Kali on her Instagram with the caption 'Current mood' and suddenly all hell broke loose. While some fans came to Perry's support, a majority of Instagram users slammed her for posting the picture, calling the move disrespectful. It is important to know that the singer is drawn towards the Indian culture and she hasn't kept this fascination a secret. In fact, back in 2010, she chose Rajasthan (She could've easily chosen Las Vegas,
