Sonu Nigam Azaan Controversy

About a week ago, there was this wave of nationalism due to the Snapchat "poorcountry" remark . And the hatchet wasn’t buried yet there was another fight to be fought. Yes, we found ourselves in between of some eyebrow-raising controversy. And this time, it was about a someone influential apparently hurting a particular religion's statement. It was maybe just his opinion and what people did was to twist his statement and then get offended by him, as we Indians are so good at taking offences that if were a sport, then we could be damn sure, Ki Olympics mein gold to apne le hi aayenge. (we'll be easily fetching some gold medals in Olympics) Sonu Nigam, quite a big shot in Bollywood and also a prominent name in playback singing, apparently received a lot of attention for something he would be proud of. On 17th of April, 2017, he was woken up by the morning Azaan (the Islamic call for prayer) from a mosque which is about 500 m away from his house. God ble...

Morning Moaning

Morning Moaning, waking up in the morning and having morning sex. Morning Moaning, a term we all probably have heard and know of. But I have a total different view on the term based on my past experiences. This is the moaning is the moaning of life. The term when I first heard of it was disgusting to me as I did not know what it meant. In my mind, there was something very filthy and pathetic going on. I do not know whether you have got me yet or not, but I am talking about people’s potty noises in the morning which actually kind of sounds like moaning. Yes, I know you’re already judging me, I know it is a pathetic interpretation of the term but this was my first thought when I encountered the term Morning Moaning for the first time. And it is not even my fault. Let’s get to the back story and see how in the world I got this interpretation of this term. In my Higher Secondary School days, I had to wake up at around 4 O clock in the morning as my school gates would clos...

Snapchat "poor country" controversy

Some truth we should acknowledge before saying anything else. Snapchat is one of the most heavily used social media, just like WhatsApp and Facebook (which are both juggled by Mark Zuckerberg). It's just an image massaging and multimedia mobile application. I'm not shock to see that how many Indians went apeshit on Snapchat's "poor country" remark. But one thing what really worth laughs is how people are reacting (over-reacting) just on rumours. Thanks to the social media and other “news” platforms people really don't get bore that often, after all they're having best matinee gossips for news! Please don't get me wrong. I'm just saying it with all regards to logic and reasoning. So, let's see when and where this fiasco happened This incident happened a couple of days ago, when talks started flying across the Indian subcontinent that Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel made this extremely infuriating statement, "This app is only fo...
